Dress Code: Garden Wedding

It’s spring and with spring comes garden wedding season, and with garden wedding season comes the garden dress code. The garden dress code is one that consists of bold colours, summer brights and perfect details that scream femininity, floral and dream-like. When we think of a garden we think of lush green surroundings, soft curving tulips and bright blue skies.

If you have a garden wedding to RSVP to but are yet to find a look, then you must prepare yourself for some options that are oh so eye catching and will look perfect amongst the fan filled, champagne towered, hydrangea lined garden wedding that you have right around the corner.

Match Your Surroundings

A garden wedding is the perfect time to have fun with your look. Here you can add embellishments such as rosettes and three dimensional details to cocktail dresses and maxi gowns to enhance your look. Matching with your floral surroundings is a great option for a summer garden wedding - think hydrangea inspired florals around a halter neck and daisies dotted on a fit and flare cocktail dress

The New Pink? Red

The tomato girl trend is definitely one to try if you want a change from Barbiecore pink. A bold red is always fun and playful and it is the perfect colour for a garden wedding as it will contrast brilliantly against lush green gardens and a blue painted sky. To us red is a neutral, it will never go out of style and it can always be worn in many different ways. If you would just prefer a pop of red, try pairing a red earring with a bright pink dress for the ultimate summer colour combo.

Frills To Thrill

A frilled strap is the ultimate feminine look, and is the perfect element to sport at a garden wedding. Frills are dynamic and artistic, and they mimic the organic shapes which petals form. A frilled one shoulder dress can be worn with some dazzling earrings and chic heels for a day surrounded by bold blooms and endless cocktails.
